KEY TO THE GOLDEN DOOR

KEY TO THE GOLDEN DOOR

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh
"

always searching for his magic love

"

KEY TO THE GOLDEN DOOR

From time to time you will see
This solitary traveler passing through
He always seems to be carrying a torch
For  a  love he prays to be

Please, no  pity
For this lonely single man
This is the way he is
Flattery, fun and deadpan

She  is every man`s dream you see
And the traveler must score
Not with a pretty maid
But, with the key to the golden door

The key is in her character
She is gifted and so much more
No one in the entire world can compare
With the Key to the Golden Door

Softly whispered words .. written for the world to read. A poem to touch the heart of any red-blooded women .. well, most of them, for sure.

Re-reading, there's a touch of whimsy and flickering smiles in this too. And that touch of golden magic.

Interesting poem. Loses me a bit, but that's probably just me.

What a gift to come home from work to.
It is lyrical, beautiful, honest and just down right wonderful.
Women would be honored to have such words written on thier behalf.
Just a rare gem among poems..

Before you taught me, dear friend, I had no idea what character was. I was lost in many ways that I had no idea of. This is a splendid piece, crafted by a man who knows the world, knows the value of a decent woman. Whimsical in sound all the while brilliant in form and meaning -- I expected no less from you, John.

This is a fun read. Really nice, I liked it, and that feeling throughout it that there is "something" more to be obtained, rather then what may seem obvious.
