SNUGGLES

SNUGGLES

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh
"

she climbs in his lap and is comforted

"

SNUGGLES

Snuggles are for babes and grandmas
And the Cutie that hears our groans
She crawls up in your lap
Sleepy, warm and soft
With a gentle sigh
Clings to you
Possessively
Yours

You breathe deep the scent of her and flowers
And fresh washed hair and stuff
And babies and bangels and
Bumpers and  bliss
Thanking God
She clings
To you
Like
This

You will not move from here to there at all
How could man be such a cad and spoil
This perfect rendezvous with loving
Sweet dedication which only asks
She be comforted and protected
By your loving chest and arms
Slowly hearts that beat as one
Make his day complete
He pulls a blanket
To warm her
In her
Sleep

I hope I am not wrong in my assumption, but I see a vision in this poem as the protective role of a father... a very soft and gentle piece.

I don't know what it's like to have children, yet I hope to some day... this best describes to me the comfort and joy one must feel when one holds their own in thier arms.

What a soothing read... Very nicely done!

this is how a woman should be treated in some respects...not being hurt or feeling low like i felt when i was with that a*s hole...the feeling of security and hope...but not only women deserve this...every body deserves it..no matter who or what they are..

Wow, completely different from your dark poems. I loved this, very refreshing and well-put! Though I have to admit something.. It reminded me of... 2 things. One, was a very cared-for puppy, and the other was a baby.

But then again, thinking from a wholly different point of view, it can be seen also as a form of love-making.

I concur with everything they said. This is very sweet! And great imagery, form, and well all the rest. Hmm...if only they had award shows for poets....

And most appropriate it is.......
comforting, gentle, beautiful and as tender as an armfull of whisper soft cuddles!
Oh to be regarded as such would be sheer joy!

Awww this is so sweet and cuddly. There are times a woman needs just such a reassurance of being loved and cherished, feeling safe and comfortable in her man's arms. And feeling that safe she just might want to express her love in ways she may not have dared before. I love this snuggly poem!

I don't see the FATHER here, I guess it's more the boyfriend/husband protacting this girl like a father. And it would be the right wqay, to treat me, for I need someone dominant like most of the girls today
but I know a lot of girls who are real dominant in a relationshir and would hate to have someone acting like a father as their boyfriend =)
