FAIR FELICITY

 

Focus on this for fun

If you are facetious and fair

But, if you are Felicity

We should make a funny pair

 

No amount of fairy fluff

Made up flamboyant flair

Will describe her fanny

And bring on a feeling fair 

 

Fill up her fiduciary   dish

Bring on her favorite fish

For ferocity will fester

If Felicity gets ludefiske

 

Now this forensic flap

Is fairly fit to flay

Fogive for goodness sake

Felicity just flew away

OMG...you know what ludefiske is??
Do you like it???? A Norwegian dish for sure...and very popular in parts of WA where we lived. They had special dinners wth it....soaked in lye it is.............now getting back to the poem....
nonsensical but fun....I am not sure I understood a word you said except fanny fair, and flamboyant fluff.....
I feign poetic ignorance in this one.........but still a delightful play on words!
And I love the Barney pic at the top...........he is just the coolest..he and Andy!

I'm gonna join Sheila Kline in saying that some things flew right past my young & inexperienced ears!
But as a whole, it was a really light hearted, funny poem.
It made me smile which is always a good thing for a reader!
Great work, once again, it really was a good poem with boundless & clever humour!
