Floating gently in the stream we dream.

DREAMY

 

We got through that weekend

No problem much at all

Now if we can get through a week

We will be closer to the river bend

 

You know that big bend in the river

In the river of life

Where everything goes another way

The flow is not all strife

 

Sometimes the lazy river

Just floats us along

With dreamy gurgling sounds

A kind of summer song

 

Where the sweet warm air

Flows gently past our face

It carries scents of pleasantry

Like a light and feathery lace

 

Do not begrudge my winter dream

You are my inspiration

Dreamy hint of summer

Floating gently in the stream

This is an outstanding piece with vivid images and a love deeper then the river itself. The last stanza was sensational and inspiring to the reader. As for your review of my last piece it was written about My daughter. not myself. Lol She has a bad habit of looking for Happiness in someone else.
