HELL FIRE

HELL FIRE

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh
"

Land on fire, smoke and flame, We only have ourselves to blame

"
HELL FIRE

Racing out of blinding smoke
Red lights drilling a path
The siren a wailing banshee
Nothing was meant to last

Flames turning night to fire
What wonders fill the dark
Newsmen shouting to be heard
Lungs bursting in need of air

Roaring burst of a flaming front
Walls falling in
Smoking hell at every point
Men fight to win

The story unfolding now
Has no moral and no plot
We stand condemned for living
Where reason was forgot

This is lovely. So--lovely that you have inspired me. I shall review this better and will very soon darling...

Fire rages in the winds
Scorched devastation in it's wake
forgive us nature for we have sinned
Acres blackened by mistake

Hell hath no fury like nature scorned
Thick smoke chokes
Homeowners forewarned

Firefighters fighting
Into the night
Flames uncontrolled
No end in sight
