Who knows reality, you? Me?, who`s is real ?

REALITY

 

Reality in a poetry world

Don`t be silly

Aristotle tested reality

Found he had his flag unfurled

 

Michaelangelo painted reality

In his sordid world

And found it just another dream

So cheer up girl

 

You won`t find it in your dream

And it isn`t in our sphere

So stop looking for reality

Because it just isn`t here

 

I thought I found it once

Someone asked for thoughts of gold

And then I was sure I found an ounce

Of reality when I started getting old

 

Who mentioned clarity

And thought they found it in the clouds

That was just a flock of birds

But they weren`t real I vow

 

Now I think I found reality

It was she I found it with

My darling she is clarity

With her I cherish a funny wit

 

Flubbered in the mist

Reality is her mind

Clarity only makes us think

Reality took a funny twist

It`s only another different kind

I can't decide which stanza is my favorite in this poem. I really like this stanza because I have felt this a time or two.
"You won`t find it in your dream
And it isn`t in our sphere
So stop looking for reality
Because it just isn`t here"

But I also love this stanza, because this is what I want except I want a man to become my reality or at least see me as his. I envy you.

well I for one require reality to counter-balance the lack of boundaries in my mind. There IS such a thing as reality. If you can touch it: it's real. Nice write but you poets are driving me insane.
