African childA Poem by OluA poem I wrote on June 16 concerning the African child. It contains some important facts about African Child. It also contains deep meanings.
From the jungle of Africa,
Crying for Justice, Oh! The African child. May you live long. Black in complexion. Strong and bold. Brilliant and bright. Characteristics of the African child. Hills and valleys. Rivers and deserts. The ever-changing seasons. Oh! The face of my native land. Talented and gifted. Brave and thoughtful. Intelligent and mindful. Wow! Flame colors show the greatness of the African child. Looking from afar, From age to ages, From period to periods, Long live the African child. The pride of Africa. Crying in tears. Whispering every time, The time has come. African child! African child! I love you dearly. With love and respect, I adore you always. © 2018 Olu |
