Liberian girls

Liberian girls

A Poem by Olu
"

A poem depicting the uniqueness and characteristics of Liberian girls.

"
When beauty fades away,
When light illuminates darkness,
When happiness becomes sorrow,
They come and change my world.

Calm and intelligent.
Humble and cheerful.
Special and real.
They have filled my world.

Educated and thoughtful.
Gentle and caring.
Oh! So, they are.
Precious in every way.

From Stella maris to UL,
From UL to UMU,
From UMU to AMEU,
Certainly CU, Oh! They're incredible.

From CU to Starz,
From Starz to Bluecrest,
Great colors are shown.
Reflecting their ways.

Are they the best in the world?
Could this be real?
From period to periods,
They have no equal.

Walking down Monrovia,
Clinging of metallic objects are heard.
Whistles are blown happily.
Wow! Voices of a unique people.

Liberian girls! Liberian girls!
When they came,
They conquered my world.
Wow! Wow! Wow!

The poem should have been called "Liberian girls" instead of poetry. I have a mistake.
