WalterA Story by Anissa AmerInspired by the Tim Burton original 'Vincent'
Walter is a boy, who is only ten.
While friends play outside, he watches horrors instead. He unscrewed the bulbs, for the lights in his room. And replaced them with bats, and spiders and ghouls. His teachers all say that he's not all there Because during lunch, he eats under the stairs. And when recess comes, he sits under the table. When his friends want to play, he says he's not able. He hides in his room drawing vampire bats And wishing a lot, that he had a black cat. His name would be Frankie, just like Frankenstein. And he'd always cheat death, cause his lives, there were nine. Walter wore black and long sleeves all year. And when he went out, all the kids peered. They all laughed and pointed, and no one came near. But, Walter knew that it was all due to fear. Walter wanted to be just like Tim Burton This he knew, and of this, he was certain. He'd write his own stories but nobody would read them. He'd write his own movies and oneday they'd see them. Walter had a heart that was coal. he liked one person and that was all. He hated his mum and father alike. They hated him to, in Walters eyes. Walter was a sad, and desolate boy.He had poems and books, instead of old toys. Our story of Walter must come to an end. At eleven years old, we said goodbye to our friend. Such a pity what happened that day. His life was empty and taken away. Just a boy with a dream and dark in his heart. Farewell Walter, you won't be forgot. as long as there's dark clouds hanging above, We'll know that it's you saying "From Walter, with love" © 2012 Anissa Amer |
