I wrote this for my wonderful boyfriend of two years.
If under the stars, we sat for a while I'd tell you my secrets, and steal you a smile If the world stood still, and the moon stopped shining I'd walk with you under the false lighting.
If the trees stayed bare, through all of the seasons And the sun chose not to glow, for it's own selfish reasons I'd take your hand, and we'd dance in the dark And sit at the pond, that grows still in the park.
Sparks will fly, under the moon lit sky And we'll use that light To brighten our path And together, we reach our abode, at last
In our room, we sit by the fire And, feel the flames as our hearts will perspire. We'll blanket together, in the glimmer of light And snuggle for warmth, and I kiss you goodnight
This is absolutely beautiful. It put a smile on my face and a warm fuzzy feeling. It's written so elegantly, and it's so heartfelt and sweet. Wonderful job. (:
A very sentimental and heartful poem. Savoring the companionship of who your most fond of has it's own special meaning. Gream poem. Very eloquent as well.
:)
Just a kiss? Kick off your spurs so they don't get caught in the ceiling fan. Take you piggin string and tie him to the bedpost , then grab the quirt and dare him to tell you he doesn't love you.
