Then

Then

A Poem by getinthecarplease

And did he see in the mystic's eyes
The rippling of strange dimensions
A revenant and devil in matrix ink
Compose the faint impressions
Of sea and river 'neath the crystal skies
Inside the ocean mouth, fading insane
On tide and prism spectral ship
The angels, soft and pale look to refrain
Or to be as one with the cherub's cries
The followers are scaring the mist
In blood washed clubs with lost and lonely
In music halls of demons and bliss
In the silk strewn bed the poet dies
With his words of the moon and sun
Whilst the hunt slows and dawn rises
The contemporary life has begun
