A Poem by getinthecarplease

I. Black, or the Summoning of the Harridan
Chorus veil with hints of whats and whens
She waits in the waters with fives and tens
Save them in their life swallowed hive
Sickening and nefarious vile and strive
Strike thee with thy dagger and blade
Old bible struck with shame and shade
Collections burning in fiery selections
Bugles cry for their rhythms and affections
The queen bleeds from her crown and scepter
Direct her to the golden eyed specter
Dandelion Pan and the harridan dance in flames
Await the bishop with his mountain games
II. White, or the Angel Defies the Light
Snow covered lawn upon the paths at dawn
Feathered quilt and sword in forms now gone
Ghost wanders the hall in search of his howl
Doves, wingless and strangled in a towel
Clouds and moons float in the stream
Admitting to the cotton laced dream
Shine in the angel's light
Call for their hands awaiting death
Travel upwards and be rejected by gods
Travel downwards and take another breath
White queen strung up in white laced crucifixions
Great Fang and the pedagogue denied any jurisdictions
At the gates
Real life awaits
