Solstice: An End

Solstice: An End

A Poem by getinthecarplease

Nine songs for the prophet's widow
Dream electric silence in stars
An ordeal for the sleeping earth
In crimson woods with winter scars
Beauty's ghost wanders in quaint winds
Free the blizzard and the abstract vision
Bestow upon the gods upon an island of spring
The science and the memory of one's decision
Across the river of medieval battles
An anniversary of the hidden sin
The doctor and the worker poisoned
Call to the professor and his grin
Burn the vulture's eye of a man
Divination of the elder's death
Poetic obituaries dried in the sun
An actress marked with heth
Allow the peculiar to sink in frozen oceans
The potions paint the cancerous night
A ballad for the discus hurled into the fog
The spirit of war reborn in a famous rite
The glass ship in black waters cracks by the shore
A ritual for the disciples to ponder
A buddhist game and devil hymns
End in the void we must wander
