Solstice: A Beginning

Solstice: A Beginning

A Poem by getinthecarplease

Theories of keys, court and small
Accounts of the equinox and balance
Wizard and his looking glass way
Joust the father's chemical talents
Isolated bride upon the twilight road
A magician at war with his mystery
Hermits crowd the temple of tarot
Herbs and the shaman unravel in history
Insanity of the leaves breathing colored air
Speak unfamiliar tongues in the garden of time
A king lost in the dream of the nymph goddess
The chapel was geometric with carillon chime
Adore the illusion of dancing fauna
The piper drunk on a feral steed
Sphinx and priestess stand within lagoons
The prism shall form in man's seed
Reveal the steps of stone upon our weary path
The jester laughs at the poems about grass
The trees echo in the symphonic pictures of cities
Approach the soul at Apollo's mass
Solo in shadows of the emerald waters
Lady in black stands upon the cowl
Flute theme and melody of moon
Interpret a daughters dream and her scowl
The gnome consumes the dream in a flask
Agnostic mantra by violin and hours of thieves
An oracle with eyes of the warmest summer night
Wept in a memory of rain and golden leaves
Tiberius contemplates the tone of the seasons
A mind upon a sabbath in the alley of bordellos
A pilgrim in modern times forsakes his wisdom
As the nocturnal song presents it's cellos
