Finally I Shall Live

This shall hold me back no longer
I must learn to move past
My anxieties cast away
Learning to view the world through open eyes
My pessimism shall be banished, replaced by realistic clarity
I shall reinvent myself
And in this I shall become a better person
Doubts shed, misery denied
I shall free myself
No longer shall I wait for my knight in shining armour to save me
The prison bars must be broken
I must seal my fate
I shall live, purely live
No longer will I cower in fear of this game
This is all just a game you know
No way to win but infinite ways to lose
And I shall play this game

And as I play this game I shall finally live.
