Typical Take my hand…. “Naw, I can’t start it like that” “Everyone starts their poems like that” Maybe I can tell you to embrace my protection And I can assure you I will gentle grasp your palm Close your eyes and open your ears, listen, its our song
Let’s not dance around the moment Let’s dance for a moment For 3 minutes of eternity My body and soul Is yearning for the Space between us to close
Our eyes lock as our minds throw away the key Our noses touch as a prelude to the kiss In a crowded room it is just you and me I would trade every happy moment in my life to finish this
Love is the subject specified by most poets today But most poets don’t describe this love in a way That could turn a man straight, when he was once gay Just so he could try and find what I’ve found in you So it’s true I fell in love Now I am out of love And searching for something new To give you © 2008 WayzWithWordzReviews
