Published Heart

i wrote while on the this site, from my mind to WritersCafe no middle man

i am publishing my heart on the internet

telling the world how i was caught in her net

she gets publicity and intern i get

another poem to post on the internet

and another heart felt regret

i bet

if i never let

her get

any closer to me than the day we first met

i would not be publishing my heart on this internet

my mind is lost, my heart is mislead

as i remain trapped in this world wide web

I had to read this twice, for the enjoyment of it. Very nice for a work instantly penned and published without days of editing... LOL! Despite that you wrote it here and just pressed the "submit" button, this is really really good and well written - not to mention amusing. This is also a very different subject to write about.
