Story Poem One

Gorou

Electricity paints the flames pink, among the cloak of smoke hidden from her wraith I think, and think.

The Shogun blade keened on flesh and bone, beneath us the dead, unmoving as stone. As spark's cascade, she draws her blade, for Kokomi, one strike is all it takes.

“Don’t touch her!” I leapt through the cloak of smoke in front of Kokomi. She swings her katana, electricity shrouds it’s silver blade, and everything stills before it's light.

On the breeze orchid petals. 

It’s scent of vanilla and honey, almond and thick, the aroma settles.

“Gorou? Are you okay?”

My eyes flutter open.
