Utopia

Utopia

A Poem by Duvessa.

Next to her lover in bed, she lies alone every night staring up, only to see her solitary sunset. She lives alone in her own personal hell where she eventually became content with failure. Her heart and mind work together in perfect harmony, but she never listens to get away.
She lives for everyone and all along had no one, but in the back of her mind she knew it all along and refused to utter the words.
Same situations to fracture her spirit and well-being everyday, yet she does nothing to change it because it's so familiar.
And still there is a girl who lies in bed alone next to her lover every night and stares up, only to see her solitary sunset; her home.
