Trials.

Trials.

A Poem by Dinkleman
"

A different type of poetry without a rhyme scheme. It is about two lovers going through the trials of judgemental parents and friends ripping them apart. Something I had to endure at a young age.

"

Enter the dead forest, my darling.

Don’t be afraid, I will enter with you.

Being pushed around all our lives has never broke us.

Parents, friends, adults, kids.

All told us to break up our love.

I beg to differ.

We beg to differ.

Staying strong through scares of these trees.

Cold, dead, boring.

I will hold you on this winter evening.

Our breath crosses path.

We begin to shiver.

Through the challenges of the forest we push.

The hills, the threat, the danger.

Come, my love, we are about to the sunlight.

Noone will stand in our way.

Breaking through the forest we sigh.

Relief, relaxation, bliss, love.

We finally made it through the trials.

Staying together we will finally run away and start our new life.

Away from the critics.

Away from the fear.

Away from the judges.

Divinity.

I love you, and always will.

Let us walk towards the sun where we will be safe.
