DubiousA Poem by Dusty MondyThis is an unfinished song. I wrote it on a regretful morning.
I am so disgusted with this way of life,
Watching myself getting old is a losing fight, I grow my beard just to shave it off and feel young again, Make new friends and I lose those friends, And I make new friends, When I spill my heart out, You will hear me fuss, Have you seen what I'm doing? Take me seriously, I'm serious, I could write you a million words about what I do, But of those words is there a single one that I find to be true, I'm at fault, and I'm locked in a vault, and I'm insincere, I hide myself in cigarette smoke and the cheapest beer, I'm leaning on meaning, Though it's dubious I mope in hope, Take me seriously, It's dubious © 2010 Dusty MondyFeatured Review
