If a tree falls, but no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
But the girl, yeah she says, she says Things aren't always what they seem. But the boy, yeah he cries, he cries For a wolf not coming for this scene. And together, yeah they pray, they pray That the world won't come to an end. The world won't come to an end, before I get my wings.
So I'll say, sorry, to each and every one of you. I'm on my own now, so I can speak freely. So I'll just be on my way now, away from all of you. I'm all alone now, so why not speak freely.
But the way, they tell you, the way they tell you Some times, you can't predict the wind. But the one and only, the one and only son's behind you For all eternity, uncertainty will follow you. And they'll say, that maybe, they'll say maybe Th world won't cease to spin around, and around.
So, I guess this is where I pour my heart, onto paper. I can see the sun now, but not the Son yet. So, I guess this is the time I'll take, forever. Maybe over the horizon, the irreplaceable Son lives.
But by the way, she said, by the way, she said That love would always seep in like the rain. But then he'd say, oh God he'd say That he'd wipe it up, like a rough forgotten stain. But the world won't end, the world will spin, until I get my wings.
Do you write music as well? Just a question. I would like to see how this should sound to music and voice. I hear it play in my head yet I can not seem to capture the tune.
As a writer, I always ponder upon how my words would sound in music, as a lyricist, you seem to have knowledge of that feeling. Have you ever sold one of your songs and heard it on the radio?
We have several contests going on and future to come - one that suits you to a tee... Poetic Infusion Society (Here) and Poetic Infusion (online) website currently under construction (soon to be ready).
If you ever decide to place any of your songs for sale, please consider first entering them into a contest we have running.

My name is Dustin, I'm a lyricist. I write songs for pretty much any situation. If I'm inspired, I'll find the proper words to have it expressed. more..
