Today

Today has been long and seems to be unending

I wish I could wake and find I had been dreaming

Today was one that left me on the brink of screaming

 

Today has been one that has left me in hell

My mind is breaking as I have no answer to tell

Today I must let all this information gell

 

Today has left me far past tired

Other's lives I have admired

Today was one i have not desired

 

Tomorrow will be no better than today

That's what I'm going to say

Yet tomorrow is a new day

Okay so it's horrid but it's something new and i haven't really written in well a few months...

we can all relate to this subject I think , simple but does the job I think , a poem can never be horrid , because it comes from within , it's honest and that's what matters "yet tomorrow is a new day" , that's what I say to myself in my bad days so your poem is real too , good job :) and thank you for sharing it

Hate to tell you but... It's far from horrid :) i think it's good because i'm able to relate to it hmmm.... 99% of the time. And the last stanza is exactly what i think almost every night before i doze off. I liked this and i'm sure many others did too therefore you are very wrong when you say it is horrid hun :)
