Cerulean

Cerulean

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna

In your eyes,

the birds of fascination fly.

Tell of resolutions broken in the past.

Yesterdays visions, todays hope,

tomarrows failure.

Their voices the shards

of empathy in empty casket.

Curiosity beats the overwhelming urge to run away.

Undiscovered euphoia,

in the battle between man and sea.

The tides of scarlet lust.

In the ocean you call,

the mind.
