Rain

written for a friend on mine.

Written words before your eyes,

would surely pierce the golden glass,

that yet hold in your oceans.

 

As ravens never ceasing flock,

so coal lies at mercy of rock.

 

Black as midnight,

light as the breeze.

Broken records,

never ending.

 

Rose colored glasses,

fill with champagne.

 

So lyrical words shall flood your heart,

and release you to a world of passion,

for all things ending,

never ending.

 

And you were nigh to be mine.

I can't believe that i'm the first who read this and submit his review. This piece is one of the most beautiful, well-written, authentic poems I've ever read.
