Shaken

Shaken

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
"

written from the dream of a dear friend =]

"

On a long dirt road,

I find my self.

in the midst of somewhere,

I do not know.

To the left i peer.

I gaze upon the wonders,

of a desert,

in black and white.

I look to the right.

There is a forest,

the brilliant blue of night.

Above me,

I see a sky,

so clear,

yet gray from storms past.

Between the three I must have walked,

but the ground may just have moved beneath still feet.

I was trapped,

between the colors,

I was forced to stay.

Never straying, from my narrow road.

But then in on the horizon I saw,

what appeared a distant mountain range.

I could not shake the feeling,

that if i took just a few large steps,

I could clear what was once mountains.

My foot has lifted,

clearing it all.

When I suddenly awake,

in a bed of satin covering.

And try to remember,

if I could have made it out alive.

Oh my ! I'm speechless. You know, reading this at 1:17 am, while the brain's asleep is such a difficult thing. Obscurity and deep meanings. You are careful in using words and I adore that :) again, perfect piece :)

Wow! Yeah, you got it down perfectly!
Just change "I could clear what I once mountains" From I once to was once and it's perfect! I'm honored! I couldn't have described it better! ^_^
Thank you! :D
