Leave Me Under

Leave Me Under

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
"

just something that had to be said

"

And now I’ve fallen,

Into the ocean.

An ocean of writhing words,

unspoken.

I float here.

Not surfaced,

nor sinking.

But I know,

were it sink or swim,

I surely would have drowned by now.

Unless of course.

I’ve died already,

and simply do not know it yet.

But then again.

There’s still a chance,

I have not even fallen yet.

If your words were edible, they'd be chocolate. A delicious, rich chocolate that you can't stop eating because you're too addicted to stop. Wonderful. :)
