A walk by Myself

A walk by Myself

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
"

just a little something

"

You there,

are you much like me.

Do you dream of august skies?

Broken hearts,

and golden ground?

What do you see,

behind closed eyes?

Do you see bright lights,

and icy shores?

When you see a wondering star,

do you wish, of sunset air?

Do you wander, through the masses,

looking for someone,

just like me?

And could you love me,

with all my weakness?

Missing pieces,

untold folly?

You there,

Are you much like me?

Though you seem, like all the rest?

I really liked this, the self examination in it is rather prevailant in my opinion I felt like I had just stumbled upon you on an empty sidewalk lol One thing, I liked the rhyme you had for the last word of the stanza at me and folly, maybe try to incorporate that a little bit more into the whole thing, it just read alot smoother to me
