Empty Space

Empty Space

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
"

everything i learned, i learned from the mice

"

Give me hope,

little mouse child, give me hope.

Give me something,

worth living for.

Something, worth working for.

Give me something,

little mouse child, that is not blue.

Give me something, that is red.

Something with passion.

Give me something,

worth believing.

Something, worth breathing.

Give me something.

Little mouse child, give me anything.

Give me anything,

that I did not have before.

For before I had nothing.

And I was void.
