Bones

Bones

A Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
"

just a thought

"

I hide beneath your skin,

because I live inside your frame.

I help you stay together,

help you dance beneath the moon.

Weave through twisted hallways,

lay on top of roofs.

You would mostly stay unmoving,

were it not for me.

So aren’t you lucky, to have a friend,

like me beneath your flesh.
