The moon is my homeA Poem by Cheavel DeLuna
But when the vastness of the ocean
Resides inside your heart, It's hard to hide from the moon. But it's harder than you pretend. So well. In the ocean you're never alone, never asleep. The ocean itself, is sleep The sea, a dream. Though you think You reach for the sky, For the stars, for the moon. It is instead the sea. Where too late, you find yourself. Among the glittering reflection Of a dream, Of a rest, of a sleep A home, I must create. Upon the surface Of the sea.
