The Heart of Man

The Heart of Man

A Poem by Dunamis Pneuma

Gray is the heart of men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in
yearning. Troubled by a past and petrified by an unknown future. Blind
is the heart of men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in yearning. Troubled
by an iniquity and petrified by an unknown judgment. Evil is the heart of
men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in yearning. Troubled by a voice and
petrified by an unknown fate. Broken is the heart of men, fickle in
loyalty, and constant in yearning. Troubled by a pain and petrified by an
unknown end. Lost is the heart of men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in
yearning. Troubled by a shadow and petrified by an unknown light.
Callus is the heart of men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in yearning.
Troubled by a few and petrified by an unknown one. Careful is the heart
of men, fickle in loyalty, and constant in yearning. Troubled by a feeling
and petrified by an unknown soul. Bare is the heart of man, fickle in
loyalty, and constant in yearning. Trouble by a truth and petrified by the
                                                    unknown.
