“Thank God it’s Friday”, the most common and loved praise by every individual who work their effort in the office and even for students packed with their assignments and exams. I too, use these words most of the time, since during weekends I get to do what makes me happy and relax. I go to church with my family, spend quality time with them, do my domestic work at home, be able to cook for my family to enjoy.

Lately, I have added a new hobby to my weekend schedule. Ever since a friend of mine introduced me to a group called IAM Group Limited (Ltd.) Yokohama Japan Korea Southeast Asia, a loose group of Christians worldwide with the idea of giving back basic giving and sharing. These group share stories of inspirations, opinions of the hardships of mankind and how one can make a huge difference in one’s life.

Members of the IAM Group Limited (Ltd.) Korea, take time to do good and share their faith for they hope somehow along the way, they can make a difference.

This opened my heart to have a new responsibility. The responsibility to share to others the faith I have in God that guides me and my family every day of our lives. I am thankful that I have a smooth sailing life. You might think that I am wealthy, yes I am, but of faith. I have a limited resources when it comes to money, and that I can say is not easy. But when you come to think of it, money doesn’t make the world go round. If you set your mind to it, and having faith in God, believing in His words and promises, then you won’t even notice that its Friday again.

We must put God first in our lives. Following faithfully his words, at first is very difficult but come to think of it, if you open your heart and mind and do away with worldly satisfaction, at the end of the day you will have a piece of mind that cannot be shaken.

Psalms 16:8, 2 NIV

8I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

2I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."

Every day whenever we wake up, we should make it a routine to come to our knees and bow our heads and entrust to Him all our worries and all of the days activities.

Isaiah 33:2 NIV

2O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.

Even before the problem arises, God already knows what to do, His words are firm and proven, that is why we should have faith in Him. We should not let all the worries in these life to overcome us, if we know our responsibilities in life, and put God first in our priorities, His words will guide us.

Matthew 6:31-33 NIV

31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

With these, I share to all my friends and to the other members of IAM Group Limited (Ltd.) Yokohama, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia… the goodness and power of having faith in God. Keep sharing our faith and keep inspiring others.
