A Girl

short poem

not beautiful 

not smart 

not rich 

but a girl who does not accept flowers as a gift 

because she hates to see them wilt

Much too short. You should add a couple lines to it. Though I think I'm picking up on the theme. Perhaps a woman/girl who may not be what magazines portray as beautiful and isn't a genius nor wealthy, but she matters as much if not more than a woman who has all three and those three qualities don't really matter in life. I'm a guy so perchance I am incorrect, lol.

I'm curious if you're Male or Female, I'd like to know what gender perspective this comes from.

I sometimes have a writing block after I start something or my mind only takes a thought so far creatively. I write many short poems for that reason but I will try and keep it going! I am a female and you did see the point correctly. Thank you.

I can see this girl. She most definitely is beautiful, smart, and rich as her character comes through in the last 2 lines
