Innit

Innit

A Poem by DudeGoofyGuy
"

This one is the favourite of a friend whose opinion I truly respect, so I decided to share it here. I hope it's as well-received by the audience here, whose opinions I value.

"

Sittin' together
In the rain
Soaking wet
No disdain
Arm around her,
A soaring spirit
She turns and smiles
"This is love, innit?"

Standin' together
In the sun
Shining bright
Having fun
Gaze in her eyes,
bottomless pit
She smiles and asks
"This is love, innit?"

Layin' together
In the bed
Comfy and quiet
Nothing to be said
Kiss on the lips
A fragile dove,
"Yes, my darling
This is love."

I think this is great. Simple, yet it says a lot more.
