Wrath of the QuietA Poem by Breezie KaeTake my fiery heart and quivering of my lip, release energy. Piercing, burning slow, moisture and heat on my cheeks, losing clarity. Mayhem, then calmness, steady movement of my lungs; such a soft movement. Ice behind my eyes, black behind my blinding white, solid behind soft. Coldness in my spine, and the stillness of my heart sapped of energy. © 2010 Breezie Kae |
