The Fall

The Fall

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

A series of Quinzaines, reversed with each stanza.

"

Losing and loving, never

very far off, as

you sing moon:

Summer moon

and stars, fade to fall,

as I fall just as quickly

as the leaves around me, as

the sun starts to set

when you do;

just to prove

that everlasting

is just what I’m avoiding;

to prove that the summer moon

will glow as compared

to the fall.

The summer moon is more beautiful because we can watch her in the warmth of a summer night. The fall moon ain't so bad. We must find someone to give us warmth on the cool nights watching the moon. A beautiful poem. Thank you.
