Silver Lining (Myself)A Poem by Breezie KaeWritten in 8th grade. To look into your eyes and ask what’s the matter. Just because nothing matters doesn’t mean I don’t care. To talk to myself when the world hears nothing. Just because they are clueless doesn’t mean they aren’t there. A tear on a cheek is nothing compared to the regrets. Just because they don’t know doesn’t mean they’re unaware. Regret is just like a blade smooth across skin. Just because no one sees it doesn’t mean it’s not there. There’s a fine line between like and love, and I really like you, and I’d love if you would take me away from myself. © 2010 Breezie KaeReviews
