A Poem by Breezie Kae

It seems I'll be okay,
and it seems that I'm developing
in a most peculiar way.

I'm becoming rather muse-less,
and even more inspired
by this end result.

Beauty,
talent,
ego;
I'm much too modest to admit it,
but I think it's what I'm looking for.

Finding my trade,
but I'll shine through anything;
no such thing as shining too hot.

Yet I think I'll be fine,
if I only cross the mind
of the appreciative eye.

^ My favorite part. I love this message. Writing mainly for yourself and that one person whose life your writing is going to change. Just think of that person makes writing 10 hundred times more enjoyable then just writing for yourself. Its good to keep this in mind because its positive reinforcement. Great job. I love this.
Much Love,
Tallulah

My muse likes playing games of hide and seek at the moment too. I like to think I have two, one for poetry. There are endless nights whereby I can't write poems and then they all come in one big hash. On those nights my other muse operates filling my head with book chapters thought and ideas. So it can't be all bad. I have never once been unlucky enough to sit at a keyboard and nothing comes.

I think that would kill me!

Excellent poems. Never let lack of inspiration stop you, write everything down. You seem to be doing a grand job.

We all need our muses. Some muses may been dead for many years. But their life make us think of great deeds and things we could do in a life. I like the feel of this poem. Beauty, talent and ego do help us write. I believe experience, pain and listening open up the writer to write. A excellent poem. You made me think this morning.
