Lifeless

Lifeless

A Poem by Breezie Kae

White ceiling,
white hands
turned golden brown.

White pages turned
golden brown.

Golden brown
drumstick.

Golden brown
dresser drawer,
out of season clothes:

Black,
blue,

brown floor,
white mirror,
white blinds,

going blind;
lifeless like the junk that surrounds me.
White hands
turned golden brown;
lifeless.
