Masquerades and Poker GamesA Poem by Breezie Kae
As lightening shone and thunder blew,
I danced the dance that dancers do. Nothing, ever, has maybe shown through this delicate melee of shyness. I danced this dance around my brightness, veiling the heart, leaving secrets in silence. Inconsistence in a lover's flatteries, we begin setting in irregular heartbeats. Yet lightening shines and thunder blows, I dance the dance only dancers know. I keep the secrets only shown after masquerades and poker games. As all our seductions turn to lies, the moonshine being in the sky. As lightening shone and thunder blew, this dance became all we knew.
