Same Old Thoughts (Everything)

Same Old Thoughts (Everything)

A Poem by Breezie Kae

Hello,

I’d love to talk to you,

get to know you.

And maybe

fantasize about your eyes,

and write a song about it.

Just write a song about it.

So much time has been spent

on the same old thoughts.

What can I say,

you’re all that I wanted.

You’re all that I…wanted.

But I’m running out of waiting,

I’m running out of hating myself,

when there’s no one else.

And I’m running out of trying,

I’m running out of crying to my health,

and everything.

Goodbye,

I’m starting to figure out,

you’ve done no good.

So sweetheart,

I’ll just try to clear my mind,

try not to think about it.

Try not to think about it.

So much time has been spent

on the same old thoughts.

What can I say,

you’re all that I wanted.

You’re all that I…wanted.

But I’m running out of waiting,

I’m running out of hating myself,

when there’s no one else.

And I’m running out of trying,

I’m running out of crying to my health,

and everything.

You can’t have everything.

Oh I’d love to have everything,

everything.

But I’m running out of waiting,

I’m running out of hating myself,

when there’s no one else.

And I’m running out of trying,

I’m running out of crying to my health,

and everything.
