Sky in Universe

Sky in Universe

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

9/23/09?

"

Reflections in the doorknob,

turn;

reveal to yourself

past the frame from which you came from.

Sifting through personalities,

being such a lack of deity,

crazy;

not nearly a psychopath.

Into a room

full of Mount Everest

burning to the ground,

fire blocking the way down,

doomed climbing up,

cat in tree

tree in sky.

Sky in universe,

speaking of truth.

Lying through your teeth,

being through safety,

passing through danger.

In this life,

we need not these metaphors;

water it down,

hide it from yourself,

but we need the truth.

The whole

pure

inevitable

truth.

Very difficult for me to grasp the intended meanings within blank verse, but if you're saying, that there's no point regretting, just go forward, and it doesn't matter how insignificant you FEEL in the moment, you are nevertheless past of the Grand Whole, then I completely agree with you.
One mionor edit: In the third line, the second "from" needs removing.
