For the Sake of It.A Poem by Breezie Kae9/16/09
I have this feeling; it’s on the tip of my tongue now, a feeling that won’t back down. What audacity of a thought, so blinding, so still, don’t want it to leave me. Because everything’s so different now; the butterflies turn into my comfort, the sky isn’t dark. And just like that, I want you, reading you " who knows what, but hopes are driving. So scared to walk away, yet so scared to stay, so scared to be so wrong. But a chance is a chance, now I’m waiting for mine; hopefully just around this corner. So much better than most, such an inspiration and such a lovely fantasy. But yet you’re in the same solar system at least; don’t need to build a rocket to get you. only my own will. But only if you will, and I hope you do buzz in the static of some moment. Some moment yet to be, but only if beliefs do catch me, only if I break through your skin. Join together some eyes, babe; I hate to hide the things I can’t bring myself to say. And for the sake of it, I think I may just feel Wonderful.
