Blind

Blind

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Written partially during sophomore year and partially during junior year.

"

Hey there darling, are you stranded,

somewhere between where you wish and what you won't?

Well I can write a song in a galaxy

somewhere lost in smoke.

Well they say time stands still,

as you wish for what you will,

and the figures just keep flying past.

Now you've found solid ground

through escape in sight and sound,

where something out there's sure to last.

Now come on baby, don't feel so sick,

caught up now between your feelings and linguistics.

But I know a place somewhere that I can go,

where it's just so sweet, and you can't say no.

Well they say time stands still,

as you wish for what you will,

and the figures just keep flying past.

Now you've found solid ground

through escape in sight and sound,

where something out there's sure to last.

And somehow you find,

everything is white.

Somehow you find,

futures are blind.

Hey there darling, are you stranded,

somewhere between where you wish and what you won't?

Well I can write a song in a galaxy

somewhere lost in smoke.

Well they say time stands still,

as you wish for what you will,

and the figures just keep flying past.

Now you've found solid ground

through escape in sight and sound,

and you've got a lot of questions this time around.

I love the words you use
"Well they say time stands still, as you wish for that you will, and the figured just keep flying past."
I love that.

If that was a song, I'd put it on my i-pod.
