Inferiority ComplexA Poem by Breezie KaeWritten (mostly) during the summer between sophomore and junior year.
Can you see the sun? You’re not the only one; you’re dead by complex. See where you’ve begun, see where life is done. And even when it’s done, it’s all so worthless. See where the sun goes down. And clear clouds seem to dance, you won’t get your second chance. See if faith lets down at all. It’s all in the romance - if you fancy, of satellites falling down. And all these twisted thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. All these empty thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. You can evolve. So are you gonna fall? The world isn’t so small. You’ve got this mindset; you can sing along, and nothing will go wrong. And even when it’s wrong, you’ve got this sixth sense: You can watch the moon catch fire. And colors behind your eyelids, you’re slowly learning how to live. You’ve only got one chance to know. It’s all in this distance, so get ready, and you can set this world on fire. And all these twisted thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. All these empty thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. You can evolve if you want to. You can resolve, this impromptu. All of these feelings stop making sense, as you need, bleed, plead this ignorance, in defense of a world so shattered. It’s all your fault, but it won’t matter; because you’re gonna to reach someday all the things you wish for today. And all these twisted thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. All these empty thoughts, they all fall down, they all fall down. You can evolve. © 2010 Breezie KaeReviews
