Grey

Grey

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Written during sophomore year.

"

Revelations;

through my mistakes I fall,

accounting it all

with "I love you."

You can’t feel

the way I’d want you to.

But there’s a thing or two

I want to say to you,

I don’t know how to say it,

but I want you to see.

That all the greys, they go away,

you muck through the uncertain shades.

There’s black and white in my mind,

that you can’t understand if you tried.

Resolutions;

in the most sincere way,

awaiting the day

that it all clears.

And you can’t feel,

but you’ll always be here

And all the greys, they go away,

you muck through the uncertain shades.

There’s black and white in my mind,

that you can’t understand if you tried.

A new snow’s falling and it’s warm as the sun,

you look right through as I blame it on you.

But I didn’t really mean to blame it on you at all.

But maybe my honesty came on too strong,

I needed your faith just to push along,

But this doesn’t really have much to do with you at all.

That all the greys, they go away,

you muck through the uncertain shades.

There’s black and white in my mind,

that you can’t understand if you tried.
