Ressurection of Butterfly DancesA Poem by Breezie KaeWritten during the summer between freshman and sophomore year.
I am here, I will be waiting, forever open to feel your words. Fill me up. But the sun shines clearly, and I don’t see faces, and I don’t see a sign of raindrops falling. But you were the one, the only one I saw. Perfect, perfection, resurrection of butterfly dances. But will you be, will I be, will we be forever lovely under sunshine, just like those dreams? But can you tell, can you know, can I ever see, see your eyes again? The tears fall, and everything I felt through it all. I want to feel faith in something more than I ever knew, just to hold onto, just to hold onto, the sun shines, alone. Shine on, alone. © 2010 Breezie Kae |
