I'll Be Here

I'll Be Here

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Written during freshman year.

"

Not sure of what I feel

but this is what I know,

I want to be your best friend

and I want to know you better

than I ever knew anyone

before.

I want to know every memory,

every regret,

and every scar,

and every single

reason

for anything you ever did.

I want to be connected

in some way " any way;

any way you’d like.

I know that I never

ever

want you to feel alone,

or used,

or abandoned.

Never feel like the only one,

and know;

know that through a sea of people

someone is always bound

to care.

The next step is letting them in,

but neither of us know

where the hell to begin.

But could this be the only mutual

thing I can ever know?

Mutuality; keep me warm

in the piercing-ice

snow.

I really liked the meaning throughout, and the vividness of your imagery. The way it rhymes at the end really drives the point home, and I liked that too. this is really good
