An Honest Reminder

An Honest Reminder

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Written during freshman year.

"

Remind me.

Remind me that love isn’t meaningless.

With puppy dog eyes,

remind me that I am loved.

Remind me that life is not all pain,

but pure, and utter bliss.

I’ll be honest with you, now,

you aren’t all I hoped for.

You never will be,

but neither will anybody else.

Paranoid,

paranoid that this love is meaningless,

until you remind me otherwise.

short and well worded. The middle dragged a bit, the repetitive beginning and the transition into line seven was a little too sharp for it to be in the same stanza.... but still and excellent poem. Best of luck, and keep writing.

This poem...... is like my life, personally.

I agree with this poem wholeheartedly.

And just remember, I love you! So HA! You are loved.

Just I love you as a sister, not a girlfriend, sorry. XD

Short, Sweet and gets the point across. Very entertaining and creative but the structure could of made the poem more interesting. Overall this was a nice and sweet poem. Keep writing.
